At TDM Performance Glazing Systems, we had the pleasure of working on Langtree – a highly energy-efficient self-build that reflects a modern approach to sustainable living. From the very first discussions, it was clear that the client and their architect shared a strong passion for environmental responsibility, low-energy design, and long-term performance.
A Glazing Package Focused on Performance
With triple glazing a top priority, our team identified Internorm’s KF410 windows and matching door systems as the ideal solution for this forward-thinking build. Internorm’s reputation for Passive House performance and sleek design made them the perfect fit.
For this project, we supplied and installed:
- Over 20 Internorm KF410 tilt-and-turn windows
- Internorm French doors
- Lift and slide doors
- A side entrance door
- A luxurious Internorm AT front door in a bold Art Corten ceramic finish
All products were triple-glazed UPVC/aluminium-clad units, boasting an impressive U-value of just 0.62. These deliver outstanding insulation, airtightness, and durability – all essential for a project where energy performance was a central focus.
Precision Integration with Timber Frame
This home was constructed using a timber frame, which meant every component had to be delivered and installed with complete precision. All windows and doors were manufactured exactly to the architect’s specifications, allowing for a smooth and accurate installation as soon as the frame was erected.
Our experienced installation team ensured that the building envelope was sealed and protected quickly, keeping the project on schedule while delivering best-in-class performance.
